Today
- The pit inspection stays on paper in the vehicle.
- Photos stay on the phone until there is signal.
- The crew changes before anyone owns the finding.
AuditDAT is a phone inspection app for pits, plant and camps in Ghana, Nigeria and similar markets. Checks work with no signal, and a fail becomes a job card before you leave the site. Anyone can report a hazard from a QR code.
The problem
How it is used
Do the check on site, even with no signal. Pre-start, camp and contractor jobs stay on one list. Workers can report a hazard from a QR.
In the field
The daily plant inspection runs in offline mode next to the haul truck. Answers and photos are saved on the phone and sync when there is signal again. Any fail is already a job card by then.
On the plant
Before the shift, the operator checks the park brakes, lights, reverse alarm and fluid leaks. A fail becomes a job card, and the next crew still sees it after handover.
At camp
The camp and welfare check covers the mess, ablutions, accommodation, lighting and power. Anything that fails becomes a job card for camp services or the contractor.
In the workshop
The workshop supervisor goes through the open job cards with maintenance or the contractor. Each card shows the location, priority and due date, and it stays open through handover. Head office sees what is still open across pits, plant and camp.
On the board
Put a QR code at the lamp room, mess, workshop or gate. A worker without a login can report a hazard, such as loose grating on the workshop stairs, and track it until it is closed. Hazards called in from the pit go on the same list.
These checks run with no signal and sync when the phone reconnects:
