AuditDAT is an inspection app from UPDAT Technologies Ltd in Malta, for site teams in Ghana, Nigeria and similar markets. Your team completes site checks on a phone, even with no signal, and every failed item becomes a job card with an owner and a due date.
It replaces the paper checklists, WhatsApp photos and Excel reports that many sites still rely on. Nothing gets lost between the inspection and the fix.
Why we built it
Open jobs should survive the shift change
When one shift ends, the next one should still see what is open.
Matthew and TJ founded UPDAT in Malta in 2021. Before that, they worked on site themselves, and they kept seeing the same problem. Customers so far are outside Africa. This site is how UPDAT is reaching site teams in Ghana, Nigeria and similar markets.
The inspection was done on paper. The photos were sent on WhatsApp. Someone rebuilt the report in Excel after the shift. By the time the next crew arrived, nobody could see what was still open.
They built AuditDAT to keep the inspection, the photos and the follow-up job in one place, using the checklists a site already has.
UPDAT started with hotels, then moved into construction, security and facilities. Today, health and safety, manufacturing, mining, and oil and gas teams use AuditDAT too.

Turn a fail into a job card
Each failed item becomes a job card with an owner and a due date. The next shift and the contractor can both see it until it is closed. Workers can also report a problem from a QR code without logging in.

The branded report is ready as soon as the check is finished. Managers can see open job cards and scores across all their sites.
